American Metal Roofs have the great advantage of being able to shed snow so that you don't have to worry about too much weight on your roof or climb on your roof to "sweep" it off. BUT, American Metal Roofs have the disadvantage of being able to shed snow. Still, we can install snow guards to break up snow as it falls, or divert it away from high traffic areas, such as your front door.

Snow slides when the temperature on the roof's surface begins to warm above freezing.*

Shovel your roof or clean your sidewalk... your choice.

*A common tip is to put salt down on the fallen snow soon after finding it on the sidewalk, because, as with all wet snow, it will likely refreeze.
